I served since then more than 20 years as senior technology executive with influential leadership in different areas.
Starting my professional career as assistant professor and finished my PhD thesis in aerospace engineering in 1999.
Served at Fairchild Dornier in Oberpfaffenhofen as head of the flight physics team for the Do 728 and later on became the chief engineer for the whole 70-seater jet aircraft development program.
I joined Airbus in 2003 as VP and chief engineer for the A330/340 program ensuring the safety of the flying fleet. Further positions at Airbus included the program management for the A350 carbon fibre fuselage and SVP for freighter conversion centre at the Airbus subsidiary EFW in Dresden.
I joined Suzlon in 2010 as VP for Program Management and Product Policy and as of 2012 as President Technology and MD of Suzlon Energy GmbH heading the technology and the program management teams of the Indian wind turbine OEM in India, Germany, The Netherlands and Denmark.
In 2018 I co-created CertX the first Swiss certification body for functional safety and security located in the canton of Freiburg (Fribourg) close to Bern.
Ramakrishna Nanjundaiah is the CEO of Phantasma Labs and he holds an MSc in Computational Mechanics from TU Munich. He has built city-scale simulations, ranging from pedestrian dynamics to high-fidelity physics on supercomputers. He has worked at top automotive, aerospace, and scientific architecture companies and labs. He has built some of the world's largest simulations across various sectors. He has worked at Bosch, Fraunhofer, MAN, and other research labs before.
Former lead engineer in corporates, fresh AD L4 System safety entrepreneur. Constantly open for progress and gaining knowledge. Supporting of MBSE process adaption in ADAS&AD R&D. Development and Analysis of System Safety centric safety concepts for AV L4 series concept. Led a working group of experts to implement a systematic sotif process for a development project of 200+ people. Leading teams with a successful integration of safety into agile way of working for functional safety and sotif.
