Jonathan Auld

VP of Engineering and Safety Critical Systems
Jonathan Auld holds a B.Sc. and M.Eng. in Geomatics Engineering from University of Calgary.  He started out, in 1994, working GNSS seismic surveys in various locations around North America.  In 1998 Jon joined NovAtel and over the last 20 years has held positions in the Aerospace team and Commercial development teams leading programs in all aspects of NovAtel’s technology.  In 2008 he took the role of Director of Technology Development and led the core GNSS receiver development team.  In 2014 he moved into the marketing group as the Director of Portfolio Management where he led the team of product managers.  Most recently Jon has taken on the challenge of leading the business and technical efforts to transition NovAtel’s technology into Safety Critical markets as the VP of Engineering and Safety Critical Systems for Hexagon Positioning Intelligence.
